LEGAL
Terms.
Last updated 9 July 2026.
The basics
These terms apply when you create an account, add a dog, or book an adventure with Bark Bus, a dog-adventure service operating from Cuerden Valley Bark Park in Lancashire. By booking, you agree to them. If anything here doesn't sit right, email us before you book — we'd rather sort it out than have you find out on the day.
Booking and payment
Adventures are priced per dog, shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken in full at the time of booking, by card or from your membership's ride credits. A booking is confirmed once payment succeeds and you receive a confirmation email with your reference.
Your dog
Every dog must have an approved profile before their first adventure: a photo and current vaccination records (DHPPi and kennel cough, rabies only if they've travelled). We check vaccination expiry before every adventure — an expired certificate means we can't collect your dog that day.
Groups are capped at six dogs to one walker. If your dog is reactive, in season, unwell, or otherwise not a fit for a group adventure that day, we may decline or postpone the booking — we'll always tell you why, and we'll refund or reschedule.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancel from your dashboard more than 24 hours before an adventure for a full refund. Inside 24 hours, you'll get 50% back — by that point we've planned the route around your dog. No-shows aren't refunded. If we cancel — weather, a vehicle issue, anything on our side — you get a full refund or the next available day, your choice.
Membership
A membership bills on the cycle you choose (weekly to every four weeks) and grants ride credits at the start of each cycle. Unused credits roll over for one extra week before they expire. You can cancel a membership at any time from your account; it runs until the end of the paid cycle.
Collection and drop-off
We collect from and return to the address you give us at booking. Please make sure someone's reachable on the contact number provided — we'll text the morning of the adventure with the bus's estimated arrival time.
Liability
We're insured and our team is qualified to at least Level 3 in canine care, custody and control, plus canine first aid. We take reasonable care of every dog in our charge. We're not liable for pre-existing conditions, injuries a dog causes to itself through its own behaviour, or events genuinely outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time — the date at the top of this page always reflects the latest version. Continuing to use Bark Bus after a change means you accept it.
