Do you really collect from Fleetwood itself?

Yes — all of FY7, right to the point, door to door. Fleetwood dogs actually get some of the shortest rides on the rotation: the estuary park and the Marine Lakes are practically on the doorstep.

Which days does the bus run up here?

Monday afternoons, every week — the Fylde coast is our newest area and more days open as routes fill. Booking closes at 8pm the night before so we can plan the route.

Can dogs swim on the estuary trips?

Paddling happens where it's safe and the group's up for it — the walkers read the tide, the mud and the dogs on the day. Every dog comes home rinsed and dried either way.

What does it cost from Cleveleys or Fleetwood?

The same as everywhere on the coast: £30 per dog, everything included — collection, the adventure, photos and drop-off. Distance inside the coverage area never changes the price.

The top of the Fylde has the best of it: the Wyre estuary's saltmarsh paths at Thornton, the Marine Lakes and the front at Fleetwood, and miles of coast that most dogs only see on a Sunday. The Bark Bus now collects door-to-door across FY5 and FY7 — Cleveleys, Thornton, Anchorsholme, Fleetwood and the Broadwater side.

It isn't an hour on a lead. Adventures run a whole afternoon in a group capped at twelve — six dogs to each qualified walker, matched by temperament before anyone's first trip — and the rotation moves along the whole coast: a beach day one week, a forest day the next, picked the night before once we've seen the weather.

Every dog rides harnessed in their own pup pod with a window seat — no crates, ever — and you watch the bus on a live map the whole way. We've just launched on the coast, so runs are Monday afternoons and new days open as they fill.
