Yes — Pleasington, Feniscowles and Cherry Tree are all BB2 and all core coverage, door to door. Pleasington dogs get some of the shortest rides on the rotation: the playing fields and Witton are practically on the doorstep.

We walk Witton every day — why pay for it?

You wouldn't — you'd pay for the range. One Wednesday it's the far side of Witton, the next it's the moor above Darwen or Roddlesworth's forest your dog would never otherwise get on a weekday, in a small supervised group that leaves them properly tired. £25 covers everything.

Which days does the bus run?

Wednesday afternoons, every week, from 9 September — collected after 12:30, home by 3:30 — with more days opened as routes fill. Booking closes at 8pm the night before each run.

I'm in Hoghton or Withnell — am I covered?

Not by this bus — PR5 and PR6 are Chorley & South Ribble territory, with their own days in the calendar. Run your postcode through the checker on the booking page and it tells you which region you're in.

Feniscowles and Pleasington sit where Blackburn runs out and the good ground begins: Witton's 480 acres on one side, the Old Hall woods behind the Priory on the other, the canal between them and Tockholes Road climbing away towards Roddlesworth. From Wednesday 9 September the Bark Bus collects door-to-door across the BB2 villages — Feniscowles, Pleasington, Cherry Tree, Livesey and Mill Hill — and some afternoons the adventure starts five minutes from home.

Other afternoons it doesn't, and that's the point of the bus: Billinge Wood and the Yellow Hills above the golf course, Sunnyhurst Wood and the climb to Darwen Tower, the open moor from Crookfield Road, or Roddlesworth's forest and reservoirs through Tockholes. A dozen dogs at most, six to each qualified walker, matched by temperament, each in their own harnessed pup pod with a window seat — no crates.

Blackburn & Darwen is our newest area, running Wednesday afternoons every week to start — collected after 12:30, home by half three — with more days opened as routes fill. Photos from the afternoon land in your dashboard the same evening, along with a short honest note about how your dog got on.
