STEP BY STEP

Nine steps from cold start to tired dog.

Bark Bus is a real operation, not an app. Here's the full journey, front-to-back. Most of it happens out of sight — that's the point.

  1. 01

    One-time · 1–2 days

    Apply & approve

Make an account, add your dog, upload vaccination certificates. We'll review within two working days — sometimes the same day. No approval, no booking. No exceptions.

  2. 02

    2 minutes

    Pick an adventure

Open the calendar, pick a day, pick your dog. Each day has a curated destination — coast, forest, country park, fell. Pay in two taps.

  3. 03

    Night before

    Pre-adventure check

We re-verify vaccinations are in date, run a compatibility check for the day's pack, and confirm weather. If anything won't work, you hear from us — before you wake up.

  4. 04

    Morning of

    Route assembled

The morning loop is built from the live bookings. Pickup windows are staggered so no dog waits on the bus longer than necessary.

  5. 05

    Within a 15-minute window

    Bark Bus arrives

A text 30 minutes out, a call when we're 10 minutes away. Driver greets you, dog walks on — electric ramp if they prefer. Pup pod with a window view. Doors closed, classical on low.

  6. 06

    11:00 / 14:00

    Arrive at the destination

Drop-offs are staggered so dogs introduce one or two at a time, not as a wall. Lead handler on the ground. The walk starts.

  7. 07

    90–180 minutes

    Adventure

Supervised group walk at the day's destination — coast, forest, country park, fell. Fresh water on the bus, paw wash at the back. Photos and short clips throughout.

  8. 08

    Within a 15-minute window

    Bus returns home

Same harnessed seat back. Driver hands your dog over at the door — tired, sometimes muddy, always happy.

  9. 09

    Same day

Photos + report in your account

A reel from the day in your dashboard by 4pm, plus a two-line report card on how your dog actually got on. Sociability, energy, anything we'd flag.

WHAT’S NOT ON THE LIST

Things you don't need to do.

  • Re-prove your dog every time. Approval is a one-time thing. After that, just book.
  • Wait for a phone callback. The calendar is real-time. If you see a slot, you can book it.
  • Drive anywhere. Door-to-door pickup and return is the whole point.
  • Wonder how it went. You get photos and a note by 4pm. Every adventure.

Ready? Pick a day, pick your dog, pay.

Two minutes from cold start to booked. We'll handle the rest from your doorstep.
