Farnworth sits on top of one of Bolton's best-kept secrets: Moses Gate Country Park, 750 acres of lodges, meadow and river valley folded in behind Hall Lane. The Bark Bus collects door-to-door across BL4 and the Little Lever side of BL3 — Farnworth, Kearsley, Stoneclough, Little Lever — and some mornings the adventure starts five minutes from home.
Other days it doesn't, and that's the point of the bus: Seven Acres and Leverhulme Park up the Tonge valley, Smithills' moors, Barrow Bridge, Jumbles, or the full Rivington day. A dozen dogs at most, six to each qualified walker, matched by temperament, each in their own harnessed pup pod with a window seat.
We've just launched in the Bolton area, so the calendar opens with Tuesday runs and grows from there — early bookers steer where the new days go. Home rinsed, dried and properly tired, with photos in your dashboard the same afternoon.
