Lytham dogs are coast dogs, and FY8 has the gentlest stretch of it: the dunes behind St Annes, Fairhaven Lake's waterside loops, and the Green running down to the windmill. The Bark Bus now collects door-to-door across Lytham, St Annes, Ansdell and Fairhaven — and takes the morning somewhere your dog will talk about.
The format is the same one our Chorley and Bolton regulars know: a group capped at twelve, six dogs to every qualified walker, matched by temperament before their first trip. Some mornings it's the dunes and the lake; others the bus heads up the coast to Stanley Park's woodland, Marton Mere or the Wyre estuary at Thornton.
No crates on the bus — every dog rides harnessed in a pup pod with a window seat — and photos from the adventure arrive in your dashboard by 4pm, along with an honest note on how they got on. We've just launched on the Fylde, so it's Thursdays first, with new days as routes fill.
