Horwich dogs live at the foot of the best walking in the West Pennines, and plenty of them still spend weekdays waiting for the evening lead-walk. The Bark Bus collects door-to-door across BL6 — Horwich town, Blackrod and the lanes between — and heads straight up into the good stuff: Rivington's Terraced Gardens and the Pike, the Hall Barn woods, or over the hill to Smithills and Barrow Bridge.
Groups are small and matched: capped at twelve dogs with a qualified walker to every six, everyone temperament-screened before their first trip. No crates on the bus — each dog rides harnessed in a pup pod with a window seat — and you can watch the whole route on a live map.
Bolton & Horwich is our newest patch, so runs start on Tuesdays with more days opening as they fill. Your dog comes home rinsed, dried and properly tired, with photos in your dashboard by 4pm.
